I have the Hobart 210 its a 240 v welder, with the gas it is very smooth.

My dad has a Hobart Iron man 230 in his barn I use alot too. Both are excellent IMHO.

Ok one other question I was looking at the sears website and they sell the handler 140 for $560 but the also sell a factory reconditioned handler 140 for $440 is there any reason not to buy the reconditioned one

I've got a Handler 140, hasn't failed me once, works like a dream. I'm picking up my spool gun for it here soon. The 140 is $479 at Tractor Supply last I checked.

Yeah I would look at TSC first, it was where I bought my first Handler.

I just picked up a MillerMatic 130 for $300 yesterday, going to use it mostly for sheet metal repairs. It is pretty similar to the Hobart, but more metal internal parts.

i ended up getting the hobart 140 from trator supply but being as im in the san diego area i had to order it and its supposed to be here today
