Anyone Have Summit Racing TB Anyone Have a 52mm or 58mm TB from Summit Racing?

I can stand behind the Professional Products 58mm TB. It's about the same price as the summit part without being on sale. I know the PP 52mm TB is $210 on summit. I bought my PP 58mm TB from CNCmotorsports about 2 years ago for around $165-$185 though.
I've heard the PP model has had a ton of issues with the blades sticking open. Do a search and you'll find some threads about it.
Yea, i have had issues with Professional Products before as well.. they have horrible sealing issues. On their LS intakes, i have seen them no seal properly and have a hell of a time tuning them and have heard the same for the LT Throttle Bodies as well.. id stick with the Summit one before ever going with them

i have had mine for a little over 4 years now. i am 99% sure it is a professional products but it looks exactly like the one in your link. i have never had a problem with leaking or the throttle blades sticking open and this is actually the first thread i noticed that even mentioned it. i have had several people drive my car before and after the TB and the only thing noted was how much better the throttle response was.
My PP TB has worked just fine, no leaks etc. I drove it everyday for 2 years. I noticed better throttle response as well. I'm now moving up to a single plane with an LS style TB on an elbow with the EFI Connection 24x. The new manifold, TB, and elbow are all coming from PP. If the TB doesn't work out however, I'll be going to a Wilson elbow and a NW 96mm or 102mm.

i have the PP which is the same thing as the summit brand. The only problem i had was after driving for a while with the engine hot, then letting it sit, then starting it back up 20mins later or however long, the blades would stick closed and i would have to press the gas pedal a little harder to get it to open that first initial time. then it would work normal. After 1-2,000 miles it worked fine and didnt do it anymore.
it works good. nice crisper throttle response. no issues with the tuning part. that was all pretty easy for my tuner to do. if you have an auto you need to get the shift points changed since you will be using less throttle to move the car. i think all we did was shift the #'s down or up on the tables. so that it shifted like it did originally at 20% throttle but now its at 15%. understand? not those specific numbers but an example.

is it possible that none of the guys here who have sticking problems have not called and let them know about it yet?
