Default Help!

Heads are back on and headers are on. Problem is I can't get to 3 plugs to tighten them. Pacesetters midtubes are the headers. Any suggestions?

Pull the headers back and in the future use a shorter plug socket with 6 point hex on the end. Makes it a breeze.

If you have a socket that goes on and has a fitting for a regular wrench on it usually that allows for enough clearance for the plugs with headers on.

I bought some offset ratcheting wrenches that i think will work. I got an offset normal wrench in there but its a pain to tighten but it was possible. Not sure but ratcheting wrenches might be too fat to fit in there. We shall see tomorrow. Thanks guys

I ground down a spark plug socket that has the hex end so you can turn it with a wrench. Works pimp!

Well that is probably cheaper than buying the SLP socket like I did years ago. I love that SLP socket though, plugs are in and out in no time.

I ground down a spark plug socket as well... To me this is as important as your lug lock key I will never do it again with out it. Just buy a cheap one at the parts store and grind it front and back and remove the rubber boot so it swings around better. Oh and I had to drill out the center because the spark plug was bigger around then the opening further in.
