im bored, lsx swaps
Everyone is always surprised by my quick LT1. It's hilarious racing LS1 guys and beating them... little do they know.. 
I'm doing trick flows/donkey dick right now so I will be upsetting most with my LT1...

What companies make the lt1 to lsx wiring harness?
What did you do for fuel line setup, being that ls1 are returnless?

Modified H/C LS swap 6-8k
it's probably cheaper now to buy a LS car. I'm actually thinking about taking all my LS stuff out my LT body and putting it into a nice LS roller. I have by far alot of money into this car and would probably lose in the deal but the more I want to go faster means the more modding I have to do to the LT body to make LS parts fit. I.e Ram air, Turbo kits, blower kits.
Speartech did my Harness.... I picked it up through Speed Inc.
You will need :
Motor
K-member
Steering rack
Corvette Fuel filter if you run return style LT1 tank
T56 or A4
Pedals if M6
Clutch & flywheel
Master & Slave cylinder
Harness
PCM
Headers
All LS Accessories
Unless I'm forgetting something thats pretty much it for major stuff. If you want AC you will need those parts too.
Take it from me don't do it because your bored.... add a blower or turbo to your current setup it will be cheaper and you won't have to modify the LS1 all over again. I had a Forged 396 LT1 sitting in my garage, I sold it to fund my swap and now 3 years later I finally forged the LS motor. I Can't say one would of been faster then the other but I basically started over just to get back to where I was 3 years ago IT WAS EXPENSIVE! to be honest not worth it just to be "bored" lol

Ummmmm no.. haha you dont need to do any modifications for any of that.. Pretty sure its cheaper just to swap the ls front end on.. Either way there are a ton of people running lids in the lt body style..

The vette filteR? Whenever I replace it I get one from a 02 Z06.

damn near $1000 in parts before paint
the price difference is not as big as it used to be. you're talking roughly $1500 after paint (assuming you don't repaint the whole car) to make an LT look like an LS plus whatever your time is worth to you or the cost of labor to have someone else do it.
as for the lid setup you either have to have a ram air hood or hack up the car (which unless you have patience and a good attention for detail, it will look like crap IMO)

I'm not sure if there is a part number for the harness. If you go through speed inc Larry will set you up and make sure its all good.
