Default Update: Aftermarket EFI Cam Sync Inside Opti

Here is my cam sync setup for guys wanting to retain the opti as a distributor when running aftermarket EFI. I just set it up real quick in a junk opti with a stock rotor, the sensor will be obviously hard mounted with a spacer, and also adjustable.

yea the setup is ready to go on my car possible tomorrow morning, or next weekend for sure. I'm not paying huge sponsor fees for the few bucks i would make on all these "inventions" of mine, i'd lose money quick But basically I would do them in a whole new opti w/ your choice of aftermarket cap/rotor and a new base unit. Or I would do the mods and conversion to an existing opti you would send me. This is a DFI setup, but i can do any aftermarket efi setup easily for those wanting the stealth factor of running an opti

So this will work with the stock pcm in place of the opti correct?

no, this is the aftermarket efi stuff. I didn't have any time today to work on the opti eliminator setup. If I get this on my car tomorrow morning, I'll get the opti eliminator mostly finished up next weekend. Today was dedicated to perfecting my fiberglass over the radiator intakes I'll snap some pics of the stock pcm stuff here in a min...

Any way you could do this to allow coil on plug. Basically just using the opti as a housing for the sensor. Do up a 24X reluctor there.

Then we could get a 1X from the crank?

I could do a 24x as a crank trigger easily enough, remember camshaft is 1/2 crankshaft speed.
