Add a cut-out and a tune to the above and depending on your tracks elevation and actual DA you shoul run 12s

Its pretty simple with the LT1 cars, first make sure your car is tuned up, plugs, wires, etc. Seafoaming the car to remove any buildup is a good idea too.

Then a cold air intake, exhaust, drag radials should put you there or at least close. Practice launching too at the track. You can put all the money you want into the car, but if you cant drive it, you arent going to get good times.

If you havent broken into the 12s yet, a stall convertor, headers, and a tune will definatly put you there. After that bolt ons will continue to lower your times, 1.6 rocker arms, 52 mm throttle body, suspension upgrades, weight reduction, a cam, and it all goes downhill after that lol Just start simple and keep upgrading until you are content with your times...if ever

Not sure what your budget is...
Reputable ported cylinder heads like LPE, GTP or AI, LT's, ORY and DR's. No need to change out gears, same driveablity as stock with far more power and a big time sleeper.

Depending on your budget, I'd go for the most cost effective mods first. Gears, stall(if auto), and exhaust had me in the 12s with no problem. 6 speeds are little more tricky, but with launch practice, can get in the 12s as well with sticky tires. Then on to EWP, RRs, and good tune for 12.30s-12.50s. If you want an even lower ET on bolt-ons, start stripping it down. The bolt-on record is 11.48, so use your imagination.

I like how your car traps 114 stock and picked up over 10rwhp and torque with just a cold air intake. Get off the LT1 forums, your making me jealous.

Twelves arent too hard, finding traction has alway been my biggest issue with my local track.
