Being stock other than a cat delete and a hooker muffler the best I've ever gotten was 27.5mpg, average crusing about 80 is 24-25, in town I average about 17-18.

Back when I had CAI and 2.5" y-pipe and single 3" flowmaster and Borla style cut out,alum. shaft,3.42s and 18" rears I got 452 miles to the tank Vegas to Clovis Ca. So 29mpg.

Now with longtubes,true duals,4.10s,19"wheels,1.6rockers,tune,slp lid.......my best so far is 26 on the freeway. In town its roughly 15-16 TOPS

Best I've ever gotten was about 14. With auto/3.73's and the hot cam, my milage is crap.

I used to get 25-26 hwy with exhaust intake and 3.42s through factory tuned auto now I get about 15ish hwy.

I've never had the desire to find out my around town mpg's but as long as im going fast enough I get 32mpg on the highway

Last tank I averaged 17 and thats with spirited driving, so I'm not doing too bad...then again when gas hits $5 we're all screwed!

Thats why you either are A) Rich or B) have another car that gets good gas mileage. I fall more into the B lol

Thanks for making me feel better about my **** poor mileage

When messing around with 2 tunes i have last week. I got 8mpg (conservative city)
with the newer of the tune i just got 13.1 mpg (combined city and highway)

Im off to get a better tune in the next two weeks. I hope thatll help

If not ill buy a 96' corolla like my girlfriend and get 30 mpg mixed driving
