ALDL cable question for 95' LT1
So i was looking into getting an ALDL cable for my 95' LT1 but i remembered that my year LT1 was has an oddball connection--Obd1 connection but obd2 programming?-- This was the reason why i wasn't able to get a lot of mechanics out here to be able to scan my SES lights. I was wondering if any of you guys out there knew which cable to buy from ALDLcable.com and which scan software you would prefer. Thanks

You may have breezed past it, but there's a link to the special cars with 16 pin/OBDI:

Software will be your preference and price range; beginner to expert, free to a couple hundred. This is something you'll want to spend a lot of time learning about before trying. I personally like TunerPro RT...

OP, actually you have it backwards. '95 Fbody's have OBD1 PCM's with OBDII ALDL connectors. You can refer to this diagram to scan your car for DTC's:
