lt1 410 stroker?????
Has anybody heard,or done it and whats the longevity/gains of doing it?
Its the GM LT1 block...You get these cubes with going .40 over..4 in. stroke...6in rods..brings you to 410.2 cubic inches.

I probably wouldn't do 6" rods and a 4" stroke together but a few Impala guys did "409"s for nostalgic reasons, am aware of at least one that was like 415ci.
None of them set any performance record though.

lol...just light to light smoke show's!!!! Welp i'll scratch that pointless plan...
The idea behind a 4" stroke with 6" rod is crazy with a stock deck height block. It can be done but most won't do it because noone has gone any fastef than the guys with the 396's. Personally I plan on doing a 408 with a 5.85" rod to allow a little more meat between the face and wrist pin. Then either a healthy shot or a blower. It may not go any faster than a car with a 396 but it's defintely not "mainstream". Just sayin.

There was a guy here somewhere with what he called a 408 Lt1 not too long ago.
Had vids and everything.
But like Dwayne said, we haven't seen any performance records out of those types of builds.

love my 410....but right after i built mine dart released their ltx block capable of 427ci... Dammit... But if i could do it over again i would just build a 502 or other nice carbed Big block to drop in... and not that there is anything wrong with my 410 but for the money i could have gotten something alot bigger and stronger. This setup is much more street friendly though thats why i did it..
