They aren't hard to clean. a bit of window cleaner on a microfiber towel shines them right up. And they're definitely not hard to see. In person, they stand out, especially paired with the carbon fiber upper radiator support.
I agree with this, who cares if he bought them and covered them up, the motor looks sick and I can see the covers in every pic I have seen of the motor

What headers are you running? I assume LPPs, but you never know. Plug wire clearance is alot better than I expected.

Looks great

i never said they dont look good, i just said that it dont make sence to me. I think those carbon covers are the only covers i would swap mine for and i like them alot, just think it would look muich better not COVERED up. Carbon fiber is sick as **** thats why most of my car is carbon. I would have mounted the coil packs by the shock towers myself to have a better cleaner view of the covers and engine. No offence at all just my opinion

Thanks. They are in fact LPP's, the "batch #2" latest version.

I really wish they would have a new batch coming in right now instead the end of May I am ordering a set of ebay headers either this week or next week, if they suck I'll sell them and get the LPPs, I just have to have my car done before May.

Done with the thread jack

I'm debating on the black wrinkle proform covers (don't like them because of the chevy logo) and a set of fabricated covers. But I don't know about the fabbed covers and the EFI 24x kit, it might look like **** with the coils mounted on the fabbed covers

^ You can put coils wherever you want! I just think on the valve covers is the cleanest.

I agree, thats why I don't know about the fabbed covers, they are generally taller.

Actually I do still have power brakes but yes the engine vacuum for the brake booster is capped off at the intake. With the cam I have the engine does not produce enough vacuum for the brakes at idle. The brakes were much more like manual brakes especially in reverse at idle. I had to install a vacuum pump and run a new vacuum line that goes up around the master cylinder. I will post a photo that shows it here. If you look you can see the line going over the cold air intake and across the strut tower to run behind the master cylinder. I do plan to replumb that line but it was temporary with a small port inline to monitor and adjust the vacuum pump. I hope to find a much cleaner way of routing it but it is kinda low on the project list right now.

Default Hood and insulator

It's the stock hood and the insulator was a Christmas gift from my wife that she custom ordered. I can find out who she contacted for it and what it cost if you like. It is about 2 years old now so hopefully my wife still has the info on it.

Opps sorry I forgot I never put my car info into my info yet. It is the stock hood for a 93 Camaro Z28. I will include a photo of the top of the hood for better identification.

Ignore the ramps I was getting ready to do an oil change

^ Me too. I just got a new stock insulator...and it's already stained white from car wash soap. Is that the foam-type stuff (stock material) or a carpet-like material? It looks great! I'd be interested in getting ahold of one if you don't mind PMing me (if you want to keep it quiet.).
