same thing that most people have with the hings on a 4th gen getting worn out and the door sagging a little which makes it hard to open and shut the door cause it rubs against the bottom

Sooooo... are you looking for a solution, or you're just posting to make conversation?

This "problem" has been ongoing since the 2nd gen cars!

Big, long heavy doors on two relatively small hinges. Hinge bushings are a "maintenance item".....

as far as i know there are no 4th gen bushing kits, I have always just replaced the hinges. they are pretty freakin easy if you have help and are willing to remove the front fenders.

what i do is i use a permanent marker and trace around the hinges (for location later) and then remove the door from the car, set the door down on a stand. and replace the hinge, then reverse and check the door fitment. and reinstall the fender

Often the hinges have no play in them. When lifting the door, the play will come from the fiberglass door itself where the hinge bolts. This fatigues and stretches over time. The solution would be to reinforce this area of the door itself.
