Total a/c equipment in the firewall was 35-40 lbs or do you mean compressor, lines, coils everything altogether was 35-40 lbs.

Edit...I did a search for 'a/c' box' and foud the weights of everything.

I paid like $35 for it maybe, 7-8 years ago. GMpartsdirect or through your local dealer, dont remember which I got it from, one of the two.

If it was still my dd I would have kept it. It hasnt been my dd for over 10 years though, so i dont miss it at all. It drops a good amount of weight off the front end and really cleans up the engine bay.

just did mine, kind of a bitch with the engine in the car. Had some problems getting the compressor out and that stupid pipe that connects to the back of it. Plus it didn't help my car was a greasy pig and i had my tranny cooler in the way a bit. Im gonna finish up tomorrow looks like im going to have to get some washers to make my new pulley line up properly.

I finally got all my stuff back together but it seems the delete pulley is a little bit bigger than the compressor pulley, my belt doesn't fit anymore...
