im talking about other thread where people have issues with there fuel pump, and them blame it on a FAKE walbro being the issue instead of them being stupid for buying a cheap pump from ebay or somewhere else that is not known for having quality parts just to save some money. Was not even talking about you at all.

Yes, you could do this. The only thing a hotwire kit does is eliminate the voltage drop through the factory wiring system.

 

i know old, but i need a little assistance on some wiring info. im trying to run a secondary pump for other reasons (scavenger) off the stock fuel pump ignition wire but having a hard time finding a clear answer.
im assuming the grey 120 wire is the wire, but can some one tell me in the plug connection that you have to mess with when doing the hotwire kits is it? im trying to have this pumps replay activated and prime the pump at the same time as the fuel pump.
