Default 94 25th weird idle

Hello, maybe someone can help me with idle in the car I just bought...94 T/A 25th Anniversary 101,000 miles bone stock. It idles perfect in Park but hen I put it in drive and hold my foot on brake the RPM's fluctuate and jump every couple seconds . It will rev up to maybe 1000 rpms and I have to hold my foot on the brake real hard. It started powerbraking in my gravel driveway today just idling.....Also, if I let off the brake and just idle the car will go 15MPH. I thought that was kind of high. I just cleaned the MAF sensor and installed IAC valve.I have a video on my phone and email that I cant seem to get on here of the tach if anybody wants to see it maybe I can send to them. Thanks alot

Update on this if anyone cares....I found that the previous owner had the disconnected the ECT sensor.. I plugged it in and it starts and idles perfect. The SES light went off too.
I dont know why he would have disconnected it????

Good deal. Glad it was something easy. Could've been disconnected during maintenance and forgotten about.

I noticed that the cooling fans arent coming on now and the car wnats to overheat when idling for long.. It seems that this guy disconnected the ECT sensor to keep the fans on all the time. I guess I'll have to replace it. Are these tricky to do?? It looks pretty straightforward but I'm not sure if I have to drain the coolant beforehand. Anybody know???
