Default tuner pro rt

Ok so i finally bought an ALDL cable from ALDLcables.com (Which shipped wayyyyyyy faster than i figured they would) and im using tuner pro rt and i plugged it up and everything and tried a little data logging and everything went good but how do i read codes through rt? I see a list of current codes at the bottom of the show data list but they were there but they were there before i data logged. Any help would be appreciated and im sorry for the noob question.

I haven't used the new version of tuner pro, but with the old version it just listed the code. Disconnect the battery to reset the computer then rescan, you can find the codes on the shoebox site if I recall correctly

Does tunerpro have a scaner in the software? I thought you had to use datamaster/freescan? I have datamaster and I really like it, easy to use.
