Default factory pcm limitations

someone school me on lt1 pcms. whats the rev limit? any drivability limitations? are some years better than others? i wanna know everything i can about it so tell me what u know.

I know you can only turn them 7200RPM

the actual rpm limit for the pcm is 7000 for tuning. some can get away with running over that by 200 rpms. 96-97 pcms are obdII, 93 is speed density, 95 is a obdI pcm with a obdII connector.

The 93's are also the only ones to use an eprom chip, in the fbody, 92-93 vettes, 94+ uses flash memory.
