Default steering intermediate shaft

i just pulled my intermediate shaft because there is some play in the rag joint. i was going to order a rag joint eliminator but was wondering if i can just use a 98+ ls1 intermediate shaft instead? guess im just wondering if the connections to the steering column and rack are the same

Yes you can use an ls1 shaft. You have to make some mods to it though. Do a search, I know I found something on it.

Correct you have to use both shafts to make it work. I myself thought about it but decided to just order the Rag Joint Eliminator from Unbalanced Eng.

Yes you can use the LS1 shaft but the steering wheel will be about 90 degrees off center. It will have to get an alignment to reclock the steering wheel.
