If you are looking at the front of the motor you will see that the water pump has three bent tubes, the left two are the heater and the one to the right is the feed to the oil filter sandwich and then it routes back to the drivers side, into bottom of the radiator.

What size nut is it/ what size socket do I need to pull the center bolt out of the cooler?

Did gm engineers finally realize that this oil cooler didn't do much? I'm guessing that's why mine didn't have one.
