Arrow 94 lt1 no start

so im getting this problem on my 94 lt1 camaro.. i just replaced the battery and alternator on my lt1 and still no start.. I took the starter out last night to get tested and tested out good..here is the the same sound i hear from mine

i have heard that noise in a starter before, it wasnt in camaro though. i think the cause was the windings on the inside of the starter motor being dirty. i dont know how the starter was tested but i have seen them test ok until they are under a load. kinda like a battery when it drops a cell. just a thought, hope it helps.

so it could be my ignition switch? how about if it sounds like the 1st video and inside looks like the 2nd vid

If its the ignition switch it will not do anything except go all black when you turn the key

have you checked voltage at the battery while cranking it? i would check there 1st. if its good then check it at the starter

Looks like the battery guage is sitting damn near on "0" that there would not be enough juice to turn it over, the noise/clicking is the starter for sure because there isn't enough to turn it over completely!

so if my battery tested out good and started did too.. then could it be possibly one of the battery cables?

It's apparent that it is trying to turn over for sure, just not enough to get a full revolution, It's weak in some way or another. I wouldn't for see the cables causing a problem honestly, but I have seen crazier ****. That's crazy that the battery tested good considering the guage states zero....Put a mulitmeter on the battery and check the true volts.

the other day i swapped my battery for a new one and it did the same thing.. then i swapped my optima in from my truck into the lt1 and still the same..

I've had a bad battery cable do that, I have had a bad solinoid wire do that (key switched power usually a small wire), I have had bad battery cable end connectors do that, and I have also had bad battery grounds do that. Check the voltage at the battery while cranking. it shoud be 11.5 or above on a fresh batt. Then you can Check voltage from the batt neg to the possitive down at the starter with out cranking should be 12.5 or something close, then check voltage from the end of the ground down at the block and the pos down at the starter. should be 12.5 or something close. if those check out then test voltage at the starter possitive while cranking and see if it stays at like 11.5 or above.
