I hate after market hoods. You may go through 5 before you even get one that isn't broken or actually fits in between the fenders. they couldn't fit worse half the time even if you put them on upside down. If you do a hood....do OEM SS NOT OEM style Go for the cam then 12 bolt or 9 inch rear.

Truthfully this is something to consider. But being a sixspeed I think with a smaller cam youll still do ok on gas. My old car with a hotcam, 410, and a non locking 2800 stall got around 12-14 mpg. That was turning close to 3000 rpms down the highway and also untuned.

i always had this thing about cars work from the inside out engine/trans->interior->exterior so i would get the cam

after seeing a pic of the car, DEFFINETLY cam it. make that thing sound as sick/clean as it looks, then make it look even sicker .

Do you have the required bolt ons already?
