I was looking at this. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HAM-1098/ The only thing is there is no low oil level bung. I'm not to crazy about red but it should work.

The only thing im going to say abut the summit and ebay pans are that you get what you pay for. If the pan does not seal good its a PITA to remove it in car and reseal or replace what ever is the issue. I bolted my CANTON pan on with my stock rails and dont have one complaint. Ebay LMAO if you buy from there and summit well the last time i bought there brand anything my car would not fire cause the digital ignition box crapped out on me 7 times! MSD never one issue. just an example i had in my experiance

x2 on the Ebay pan, but the link to summit I listed is not a "summit" Pan. I have heard good things about the economy series 7qt pan from Hamburger's Performance. Sure its no Canton but the OP wanted something less expensive. I cant say from experience if it is good or not but I am thinking about giving it a shot myself.

I have a moroso 7 quart pan on my car. I don't remember the part # but its for 86 and up blocks and has the side kickouts. Tucks up slightly above the factory k member, and now with my UMI k member its slightly lower than the lower bar. Check out my build thread to see some pics of the pan

How do you think canton and the other big names make their pans?

I'm confused. I didn't think Canton's pans were any deeper than stock? Besides, at least Canton's 242t pan is a 6qt IIRC.

I looked at the Hamburger pans, not to bad but the last one i saw installed had a HUGE gap between the pan and bottom of the timing cover.

I dont feel like having to do a pan with the engine in the car, did that once already and it sucked.
