Well i would look into why your optispark keeps going out before buying into a coil pack conversion. There are two available, the LTCC and the Delteq setup. However both still use the optisaprk for reference. THe LTCC needs a poperly opperating opti spark to work at all. If you opti keeps failling there is something else wrong, prolly not the opti's fault.

I would look for a small leak from your water pump, or a cracked vaccuume hose to the opti for your problem.
Another option is the dynaspark. Completely sealed billet unit.

Nice setup across the board here, around $600-700 I think depending on what all you go with but if I understand it right you can keep your MSD units and LTCC you give that up.

About 600-650 with new LS1 coils.
Personally I like the Delteq setup over the LTCC based on customer support issues, QA related issues of sending the correct wiring diagrams out with the units. He builds a good product but lacks in the quality dept from the feedback I've read. Still good results with his units when they are wired right.

Another vote for Delteq. The stage I only uses the optics and four waste spark coils from a Caddy Northstar. They should (hopefully) have the stage II out soon which eliminates the opti completely.

If your optis keep failing, I'd look closely at the cam dowel. If it sticks out too far, it can push against the rotor and cause failures. I don't remember the exact max length, but I seem to recall it's around .6" for the 95+ optis. I have known this to happen to several folks whose cars kept eating optis.
And FWIW, I have a Dynaspark on my motor. The Dynaspark cost more than the motor did.
