LT4 Vortec max cam?

whats the biggest cam i can use in a vortec lt4 with cast heads?

I believe any cam the LT1 can take. Bigger is not always better when dealing with cams. There are alot of cam threads on here just search for a sticky or do advanced searched.

WTF is a vortec lt4? Cast heads, really? As opposed to what, forged ones? Billet? You need to ask a question that makes at least a little bit of sense before you get a decent answer.

If you are trying to ask about L31 Vertec heads, they are very restrictive on max lift because of extra tall valve guides. .690 lift is going to be way, way too much for those heads.
