I think there's two different ones. I'm not sure.

I doubt you'd have problems swapping either one in though. They are close enough that the tune can compensate.

I know for sure that 93 Injectors are 22lbs compared to 94-97s 24lbs Injectors. Not sure if it is a problem to switch them or not though.

You can put later 24lb ones into a 93 with no issues.

Close, they are rated around 15lbs higher so
28 LB LS1 injectors comes out to around 24lb in an LT1

I thought the 93 ECM did not remember what it had "learned" like the 94+ PCMs meaning if you put 24lbs injectors in it without a retune you are going to be a fair bit too rich till the engine and unheated O2s finally warm up and take control. Best case there is you will wear the engine like it had a carburetor on it. I might fool around with a 2lbs difference on the later pcms for a short term fix since they do learn and have heated O2s that react faster but on a 93 no I would not.

That would make sense with SD.

When you say "wear the engine like it had a carburetor on it," are you talking about washing the cylinder walls due to a rich condition?

Till it warmed up each time and the O2s became active, yes that is what I mean.

Okay, I could see that, but I could imagine it wouldn't be catastrophic wear (for a short period of time anyway, or if you did the heated o2 conversion).

You'd be surprised how rich it can make you. Especially if the tune is already on the rich side.

Lol, I know all about rich, I had no O2s at all for about 2-3 weeks because the previous owner cut them out and plugged the headers (I still to this day can't understand why).

OP You can move up to 24# injectors, but you'd need a good tune. As stated above, with SD and non-heated O2s you'd run rich.
