im runnin a spec stage 2 behind my built motor with AI heads and cam. it holds excelent and it feels just like a stock clutch. pretty decent price as well. or just like stated above go with a stock clutch. have your flywheel surfaced as well

I guess it depends on what you do. If you just drive it on the street then I'd get something from Autozone or one of the mildest aftermarket clutches available. If the car sees some track use I'd say go with a RAM since it feels just like stock, but you risk having to use an adjustable master cylinder because engagement has been known to be an issue. I'm not going to recommend Spec right now because I am in the middle of taking my Stage 3+ pressure plate back to them because I believe it's not right...

Myt clutch started slipping pretty bad in my car recently and Ive been debating the same thing. However, I do plan on getting some sticky tires and running at the track a few times. Im also considering throwing a cheap N2o kit on the car.
My two choices Ive narrowed it down to are the Autozone stock replacement and the Competition Clutch Stage two. The Autozone can be had for around $170 with a good warranty. The stage two Competition Clutch I found can be shipped for under $300, and hold waay more power than stock. Most reviews Ive read of guys using them say they drive like stock and I havent heard a single complaint from one. Im leaning towards the Competition Stage Two right now.

I think shbox.com has the clutch part numbers listed on his website, too.

I suspect most make their discs from componets made in China. McLeod states their spline hubs are USA. Not sure where the spring centers and disc materials themselves are made.
Some buy a Autozone kit and McLeod DF disc. That combo is about $375
