Default VATS disabled but car still acts like it's not disabled..

Well I finally got my VATS disabled on my OBD 1 as was told to but my car still starts and runs for less than 3 seconds before it dies. But when I stick my OBD 2 in, it stays running. Since my VATS is disabled on the OBD 1 is there anything else I can check that is making my OBD 1 not keep the car running. Thanks for any help.

Sorry dude. I am converting over to OBD 1 PCM from an OBD 2 PCM. My OBD 1 PCM will allow my car to only run for 3 seconds then dies. But if I stick my OBD 2 PCM back in the car it will stay running. I was told to disable the VATS on my OBD 1 computer and it should stay running. I did that but it still does not stay running.

Do you have a 50 Htz box wired into the PCM to enable the injectors?

Do you have the TDR grounded out?

ou need both of those to successfully bypass VATS on a OBDII car.

Never have had to delete VATS on the conversions, The only time I needed to delete the VATS when the motor was going into a vehicle other than an LT1, so the VATS is not the problem.
