Op, a good plan of attack to start with is getting the engine to breath better, cold air intake/ls lid, imo lid>cold air, headers, off road y, catback or true duals. Do all the bolt ons, then id do some suspension work, especially something with the rear end, whatever you do, do not sink money into the 10 bolt rear end, it is the biggest flaw next to the whole opti thing.

Haha yea. Its funny though, I took off the badges and tell people I have a major exhaust leak. And most of the time, it works and I win!

Don't be hatin on V6's..... If i had one and was bound and determined to make it fast... It would be very fast!!!

Guys remember that boost and nitrous can go a long way..... hell a V6 with 20lbs of boost and a 75 shot of nitrous would be a MEAN little bitty V6. not to mention lighter than the V8 counter-part.

Since I'm old and crotchety I'd say save the money for something else, but being in your shoes before and if you are wanting to run at the track then as already suggested, stall, then gears and then headers/off road y-pipe (as money permits). If it's a manual, then I'd do headers/off-road and then gears.

That is because they are pretty rare and in high demand since they produce the best exhaust note for a catback exhaust bar none.
