What is this part?
From my research, this is on 93-97 F-Bodies.
How does this part attach? Does it provide a jacking point to avoid crushing the fender mounting lip? What is it made of? Some other guy on LS1tech called it "fender/pinchweld protectors." GM called it 10232376. Long dead.

NEVER jack there EVER...its attached by 2 10mm bolts if you look from underneath they are in the center of that clamshell...its a piece of **** and will break and bend/break/tear your fender. I hope that answers your ?

Yeah, it is some sort of composite material that is the lift point for that area of the car. IIRC is has two screws that go vertically into the chassis.
The part on the fender lip that says "don't jack here" means not to be an idiot and jack on the lip of the fender. Use the block behind it.

YAY. Another part I shoulda snatched off the '94 before it was crushed. (Like the perfect condition side view mirrors-DOH!)
I think I remember seeing these under it. Never thought about it on the '99.
Now I want them back!
