you can reuse the connector but you'll have to depin it and run it for the cam sensor as the efi kit calls for in the BLUE harness.

There should be a thread stickied, compiled of all relevant LS1 PCM swap information...and this needs to be one of the top links in said thread. Very nice write up.

i'll take some more pics of the front so you can see what changed, but basically need a new connector for the cam sensor and has to be pinned specifically, not the same as opti connectors, they all go away from the harness

Thanks man, I'm trying to get this detailed and cleaned up and accurate. I have a lot more to post and not enough time, but trying to get done in the next two weeks.

Did you end up finishing your harness and get it fired up? Im pretty sure you did but its been awhile. If you have a chance to finish the build details that would be amazing as this will be a great sticky thread for us doing our own harness's.

x2 on this. Can you run a double roller timing chain with this set-up? I had my crank sensor deleted to run one on my current build, but doesn't this set-up have to have a crank sensor?

If you want to run a double roller chain you have to buy there custom made timing cover that will allow for the doubler roller. You also have to order a crank reluctor designed for a double roller setup over the normal single. You have to run a crank sensor to make this kit work. I have to convert back to a single roller chain as im going to use the stock cover without having to spend 350 on the custom one and there other reluctor which is like 250 iirc. If i had the extra cash i would do it but just cant justify it right now.

What ended up needing to be swapped on the c100, c105, c210,c220,c230 connectors?

Ive been viewing alldata printouts and shoebox's stuff and I cant quite put my finger on it.

c100-c105 = bring fused power from the fusebox (front DS headlight fusebox) basically to the ignition and fuel injectors. that is what has to line up there and that's how you power the coils and injectors plus whatever else GM decided to put on there.

C210-230 - are inside the car and those go to the dash and the fusebox inside the car. I had to modify mine slightly because I was using a 96 harness in a 94 car, but if your harness is the same year as your car, you won't have to change anything there other than making sure the pinouts are ok on the PCM itself. hope that helps.

Rob you have to look at the pinouts in those connectors to see what changes from year to year. If you use the same year harness nothing has to be changed.

Car is going and running fine, no issues other than time to fix up the asthetics. Time I severely lack right now and will for the near future. I can only admire the car now in the garage as winter has finally kicked in in Chicago.

from the 96 harness to the 94 c210/220/230 connectors. I only had to move one (the pcm power) to align with the 96 harness.

There are no plugs that go into the PCM its just wire repinning. Im not exactly sure what years the 0411 PCM was used but its what you need and can be found in not only Fbodys but trucks too and usually fetch 50-100 on here and Ebay.

Out of curiosity, what tools do you need to do the de-pinning and repinning of the harnesses?
