Flashing CEL at Start Up!

Flashing CEL at Start Up! Well got the motor up and running and been out a few times in it breaking it in. Today i went to start it and started tripping the engine lights and the idle would go up a bit and then come down after 10 secs and light turns off. Would do this a couple times and then was fine. Went for my cruise. Shut it off and started it back up was fine. Started it again later in the cruise and started doing it again. Once driving it went away so its only at startup. My best guess is a bad wire as they were not new when i put them on. A buddy told an instance his buddy had similar that was flashing cel lights and ended up being bent pushrods. Motor runs and sounds good so it cant be what im dealing with. Originally i though it was my o2 sensors not happy and flucuating and tripping codes or again a bad wire or possible opti.
Any thoughts untill i get the scanner on it in the next day or two?
