280 xfi dyno numbers

mods are K&N intake system, pacesetter lt's, 3" ory, 3" exhaust, comp cams 280 xfi camshaft.

before camshaft car dynoed 285whp/321wtq... 11.9 A/F stock tune
after camshaft car dynoed 344whp/348wtq... 12.4 A/F.. fueling only tune no spark changes over stock

What's the rest of your valvetrain look like (springs, rockers, studs, pushrods, lifters)? Stock heads? If Auto, what stall you running?

Just curious.

I almost went with that cam for my 383, but I think I'm going to LE and get a custom grind.

its m6, bought the whole kit from comp. set redline at 6k, will still pull past that. No valve float issues with the new springs. stock studs, used scorpion rockers, no guideplates, stock heads

Have you been on camquest to look at the 280xfi cam dyno on there? Just curious if the curves/graphs are similar to yours. I know on camquest, it shows tons of torque on the bottom end and stays flat up to 4500 or so. That's what I really liked about the cam, but I don't know how accurate camquest is.

just checked out camquest, that thing isnt even close lol, forget that program

i can email you the dyno sheet since this wants a link just to put up a pic

Just host the picture on photobucket so you can post it here. It doesn't take any longer than making an email with an attachment and you can avoid having to email the picture to 40 different people who want to see it.
