Help with 94 z28 build!!
Help with 94 z28 build!! Ok I just recently purchased a 94z with 84k miles. Auto car. Im looking to build a pretty quick street car. I have a complete Gen 1 383 with aluminium heads. What is my choices for putting this motor in my car? I want to keep it Fuel injected but want to retain all my factor gauges and warning lights etc etc. Would a F.A.S.T system be the rout to go?

For what you will spend on aftermarket injection you could have instead sold your engine and put the money saved by using LT1 injection into making the LT1 faster.
Look at it this way too. You come to the LT1 section and the ONLY thing you want to know is how to get rid of the LT1. Not going to be a sympathetic crowd.

Well not exactly looking to rid of the lt1. Im thinking of swapping my internals from the 383 I have to and lt1 block. Then run an efi intake with and elbow for tb. That way I can retain all factory wiring and the lt1.
