Default Could my clutch have seized up or did my motor get screwed up?

Hey all, i had a really strange thing happen to my car the other day. I was driving fine and came to a stoplight, pushed in the clutch and felt a pulsing sensation when the clutch was depressed all the way. The car still drove fine at this point as long as you didn't fully depress it. Then it started doing that halfway up the release point and i pulled the car over to the side. Heard a metallic grinding noise at idle, shut the motor off, and went to restart it and it doesn't even turn over. It attempts to, but doesn't, almost as if it was seized...any clue what the **** happened?

sounds like your clutch hydraulics are going bad, not releasing the clutch so the motor and transmission are "locked" together. can you put the trans in neutral?

Yeah it will go in neutral, and if you push the clutch down while its in gear, the car will move backwards down the hill...so i dunno what the hell it is. pressure plate stuck maybe? Its a Spec 3

Sounds like a throwout bearing went through the pressure plate. Seen it quite a few times on Specs and stock clutch setups. Time for a new setup!
