Exclamation Need everyone's input on something

Hey guys. I've been trying to decide what I am going to be to my car performance wise this summer. Right now the car is at almost full bolt ons (see sig for list). I have been highly considering doing an N2O Outlet plate kit. I was just wondering if its safe to spray a 100 or 125 shot into my motor with 137k on the clock. My dad isn't too keen on the idea, and would rather me cam the car. In my eyes, the nitrous kit will give me more power than the cam, cost less, and I'll still be able to dd the car without any problems. What would you guys recommend?

True, and both will be done eventually, but I'll only have the money for one...

**** that. If you can only do one right now, spray it.

Spray can add 150hp SAFELY.

A cam might add 40.

Take your pick

So I'm guessing I shouldn't be too concerned about the miles?

Cam. Add up what refills cost for a summer. Gunna need valve springs with that mileage regardless of lobe design/lift.

quickest gain would be to spray, cost wise.....how many times do you plan on hitting the button

But a big cam goes bumpity bumpity bumpity. And when that "insert fast car here" pulls up next to you at a redlight you dont have to say, "Damn I wish I had my bottle."

spray it... As long as u got good oil pressure youll be fine. I was sprayed my stock 200k miles short block for 2 years. Never had a problem. Just make sure u go with a colder plug.

cam it first. I wish I had done a cam first... nitrous is fun but really its only fun when you hit the button. and I LOVE to have fun so I hit the button so many times I had to buy a refill station just to afford the use.

Oh yeah nitrous is def the best bang for the buck initially but after a few bottles is becomes more expensive. and besides do you want 40 hp more/a better power band/car that sounds mean OR do you want a nice little purge kit/150 hp only when the button is pushed/constantly filling a bottle/loosing a race because you ran out of bottle. Sure I LOVE nitrous but I believe that getting rid of the stock cam that is still emissions compliant/hp robbing will do more for the motor than nitrous will.

hey if you do the cam swap now you can always add the nitrous later.

spray it its fun and the whole thing about runing out in a race well i always kept track of our bottle if its low just say no im good tonight maybe next time then u watch and see what jet u will need next time!! its stealth

its easier to hook up a nozzle then to pull a cam,to find out that u need a new opti or wp and springs
