We are not saying that is the route, but rather giving some suggestions which could be more beneficial and save some $.

^^

buying his would tap be boooone dry, still deciding..

my buddy is trying to talk me into a ~$6500 "600hp" Victor 383 from jegs. (full kit with 6AL, 950 carb, solid roller, splayed, 12:1, all forged with a 264/270 cam lol...) thing is i'm all set up on LT1 PCM, did a lot of work to get where i am & i imagine that involves ditching the computer completely. BUT, my local guys definitely run/know the carb thing..

wonder how that setup would compare?

The one I have for sale would be $1500 less and walk all over that. And its hydraulic roller and comes with the tuned computer

On Nitrous? Yes. Motor-to-motor? Not so much.

Now its still not as good a deal as your setup for $5k - that one is overcammed and has poor heads, plus since its not reverse cooled like LT1s the 12:1 CR makes them recommend race gas. You can make the same power with less cam.

i know puck, it runs good on motor but the cam was specd by Lloyd to respond well to the nitrous. couldve definitely done more if my goals were N/A
