Default DIY head porting question

I have a question concerning the casting for the rocker arm bolts in the runners of the lt1 heads.

Can I smooth those out and if I were to poke through and reach the threaded hole for the rocker stud would this cause an issue.

For example, I have this going on.........

And was wondering if I could do this...................

I am thinking a thread sealant on the rocker studs would stop any vacuum leaks, but I am just looking for some second opinions

Thread sealant on the rocker studs is actually an OEM practice, so you'll be fine.

Also, PM sent.

As stated above. Just use a good amount of thread sealer on the rocker arm studs and youll be good to go.

I thought those were on the LT4 heads.

What type of thread sealer would be best?

Would the same sealer for our head bolts work?

I use the ARP thread sealant on my rocker studs that protrude.
