No problem with what part??

BTW, Thank you so far for all the responses, the opinions are extremely helpful. The last thing I want to do is be 39 and build a car trying to be 21 again. A classy Z28 transcends age but a cheesy one portrays a different image.

I think he meant no problem with any modifications that can simply be unbolted and the car easily put back to stock.

That last statement of yours says it all.

IMO I have never seen a ground effects package I like on a 4th gen camaro...not even the factory RS one (although it's better than the others).

HOWEVER, it's your car. Build it for your enjoyment. Alot of people wouldn't approve of my changes to my 61 Bel Air, but I'll never sell it...so who cares?

Your car looks exactly like mine when I first bought it. I now have c6 rims with a cowl hood and ss spoiler. I get comments on my car all of the time. Just about everyone seems to like it except my ex girlfriend did not like the hood because she couldn't see over it.

My car started just like that as well. Now it is still super clean, but heavily modded under the hood. I couldn't be happier. I don't see LT-1's being treasured in the world concours cars. Maybe if it was a factory LT-4....

BUILD IT!!!

The world must truly be coming to an end. I agree with what Richard Simmons said 100%.

Another ground effects hater here I cant stand them, and I have yet to see any that dont look like they were just slapped on the car/dont belong there...

I think lowering with BMR, Strano, or SLP springs (.75-1.25" drop) plus some nice wheels/Tires would complete the look on the outside. I may also consider stainless steel "CAMARO" Inserts for the rear end, you can find them at www.emblempros.com and they're great quality pieces.

Beyond that the only other exterior thing I might suggest would be an SS or cowl hood, along with window tint (All depending on your taste, preference, and local law of course)

Agreed....I used to think ground effects were cool back in the 90's when I was in high school I used to want a Wings West body kit for my formula ...Not so much now....they all look like some riced out **** that belongs on a 90's Honda civic with a fart can muffler and they get all tore up because our cars ride so low. Not to mention for the cost of parts labor you could have actually increased PERFORMANCE by a large margin (get a ram air or cowl hood instead and wheels/lowering springs.....MUCH classier appearance mods IMO).

IMO as far as body kits go on a camaro only the RS factory ones look good to me. The rest are either borderline or full on rice.

NO BODY KIT!!!! Loud and clear, thx for the advise! What about hood/lid stripes?

Stange thing, went to a car show today with 150-170 cars there. Ranged from T-buckets and rods to late model imports. There were 11 Camaros in the pack but not one LT1 car (1 nice all stock Iroc though). The only LT1 car there was a single Corvette. Because the LT1 cars have been considered "throw away 4th gens" maybe they are starting to become rare????

BTW I will go with a 2.5" cowl. The car is not an SS and do not want to make it something it is not.

I have a 94 z/28 with a 2.5 cowl hood, factory spoiler and 17" zr-1's with 2" springs and I love the look! It's not a ss, leave it a z/28! Just my opinion

I doubt a 94 will ever be a collectors item, so id say just enjoy it and make it the way you will have the most fun.
