Default Question about some sending units

I have some questions and hopefully you guys can help me with them.

I need to know where the fuel pressure sending unit, oil pressure sending unit, and the oil temperature sending units should be.

Last year at the shootout my car was in pieces and a sending unit behind the intake (in the block) was broken off, I'm not sure which one it was, but it had a gold block that threaded into the block and had a black end on it for a plug.

If you guys have pictures of the sending units and where they are located that would help me out huge because I've tried searching for what they look like and where they go but I've had no luck

From the factory there is no such thing as the fuel pressure sending unit OR the oil temperature sending unit.

The oil pressure sending unit is either on the back of the intake manifold (late 1994 - 1997) or just above the oil filter (93 to early 1994), since you don't list the vehicle year.

www.shbox.com has pictures of where it is located.

it's a 94 z28. but it's definitely the oil pressure sending unit that's broken.

So then for fuel pressure and oil temperature what would you do to hook up the gauges? I'm pretty retarded when it comes to this stuff so I appreciate the help

Fuel pressure is acquired by tapping into the Schrader valve on the fuel rail (toward the back of the intake manifold).

Oil pressure/temp can be tapped into any of the plugs that access the oil galleys, like above the oil filter or back of the manifold.

i know this is the Schrader valve correct?...

So how does one "tap" into it? Same with with Oil pressure/temperature. I know of the areas you're talking about, I'm just curious how to do it clean and correctly.

You need a typical -4AN adapter for fuel injection. It ties right into an electrical sending unit for fuel pressure that comes with the gauge.

Oil temp/pressure is easy too. The sending unit should include either an 1/8" NPT or 1/4" NPT fitting.

i mixed up the schrader valve with the fuel pressure regulator. I figured out by a search that I had to take the "stem" out of the schrader valve and there should be an -an fitting that goes over the schrader valve and goes into the fuel pressure gauge.

Shbox is pretty awesome, I just did a google search n saw where the auxiliary oil pressure passage port is. so that's oil pressure, now where would the temperature go?

nvm found it on shbox.com, so I can use the stock location on the back of the block behind the intake for the oil pressure sending unit...now can I use the auxiliary oil passage port for the temperature?

Yes, you can use each hole for both.

that's the sending unit for the fuel pressure gauge that I'm going to be getting. Now with the schrader valve there are two sets of threads, one on the inside and one on the outside.

Now I read that you need a -4an female adapter to 1/8" NPT male fitting, but with that sending unit it looks like it should be -4an 90* female to 1/8" NPT female fitting. Does that sound correct?
