As much as I like fabbing things, I would never attempt a set of headers unless I had a totally stripped down car and a ton of time. I did my own true duals but I will consider that to be much easier and less PITA than headers. I am sure most would agree.

Those headers look outstanding and you likely improved the clearance areas that most of us see around #1, #8, steering shaft and right side collector areas. They will likely perform as well as anything, any of us have. I commend you on a job well done.

flip em around and put twins on it with dished pistons and i might get excited.
ALL the bolts are easy to get your hands and tools on as well as the spark plug's I built them in my Garage at home. I spent about $400 in parts and over 50 hours. This is my first set I ever did. I have built a set for a chassis car also now. BUT this is not some thing I would do on a regular basis.

As far as Turbo's? They were not in the budget so I will have to just run 8s on juice instead.

The Hogans is still at Nitro Daves You can see it here.

Thank you every one for the nice words. it is a long road to get where I want to go and all I can do is take one step at a time

Nice work, Ellis. Not something most would tackle, but the results speak for themselves....perhaps you could sell your prototypes to a fabricator and have a jig made so that they could be reproduced at a reasonable price (?)

They look awesome Ellis.
I was wondering when you might have time to make these fit on my ride.

These are some stainless headers my buddy just ordered for his boat. If you think stainless headers are expensive for our cars you should buy them for a boat!!!!!

Yup, 351. He went through a set of aluminum and a set of cast manifolds in 6 years so he decided to step up to some stainless.

All headers are created equal, what a waste of time and money....
