Nice work and nice design, I can see where all 50 hours of working time came into the equation. You've got a real nice ride man! You mentioned in an earlier post that turbos weren't in the budget, but with the Nitrous Outlet modified Hogan sheet metal intake and ported/modified Brodix heads, I have to ask, what was the budget/goal for that pavement destroyer?

I have had most of thiese part for many years and was already running juice. Turbo's would add another $12,000 to my budget that I do not have right now.

On the subject of turbo's....If you want a true class performer then you do not buy them on e-bay. our Turbo program will be in the 1,600hp+ range

I think I have some really old pictures of this top end setup on my external hard drive. How long has this been in the works?

I figured that a high end turbo setup would run the bill up pretty high, since your ride has had some time in the making already, I can see where the budget comes into play as you would have to basically start all over on a set of snails. Once again, nice build. What's that thing put out on motor with the E85?

You're kidding, right? I know a few cheapskates who had to buy new motors when those inferior Chinese turbos sent metal shavings through their engines within a few thousand miles. Hardly the budget choice.

^^ I think it'd be cool to throw a set on a 5.3 and see what kind of power it would make. Even if it didn't last very long, it would be fun. $1500 turbo V8 setup in an S10 or Vega.

Do yourself (and all of us) a favor and don't make posts based on opinion, emotion, lack of first hand experience, or an altered state of consciousness. Posts like that have largely contributed to the decline in integrity within the LT1/4 section of the board.

Ellis, looking good man! Glad to see you are still pushing the LT1 world forward from the days of $400 salvage shortblocks

Nice work! Those headers don't perform the way you like...they'll sure do the job for me. Really should look into someone building those for the masses.
