I'm working on stripping the new one and the old one at the same time. Pulled the intake, valve covers, timing cover, the valve train, and just unbolted the exhaust. It kills me because there are not signs of anything in valley, on the heads nothing. Everything is clean, guess the oil filter did its job well. NAPA gold baby. New/used engine is completly stripped, put new spring in oil pump. Sunday hopefully pulling the old engine out to see what's in the pan.

Looks like a before and after when I detail. Before compounding and after lol. On my old 383 w/ a Callies Dragon Slayer Crank and Eagle H beams. I wiped out the bearings but the crank never cared. Still perfectly polished looking. It was due to a overly rich mail order tune which was due to my inexperience at the time.

Sucks it happend and that it damaged some hard parts but thats life. GL on the next one.
