[QUOTE=Big Al;15094239]Back in the day when we were street racing a lot I would always look under the cars, if it had a ten bolt I'd double the wager![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Well they had a few guys like that at our local track, mostly Mustang and older racers had at least a 9" or Dana 60 in the racecar. I ran a stock 7.5 10bolt with GM 3.42's in it for years. The car ran between 11.20-50's on motor depending on weight, weather, street/race.The car normally ran 10.30's@130mph on 150NX with a best of 10.17@133mph 175HP n2o, before retiring the old 7.5" which I still have, that was just howling a little on more then 150HP N20! Autos will live if you don't have a T-brake or lower then 3.42's, also stick with GM gears if possible, 3.23's aldo work real well on n2o and are stronger then 3.42's. I also built an 8.8" which help up really well, just should have went with aftermarket axles back then. Goodluck
