trip to the track/ 10 bolt carnage
went to the track after putting a ss3600 in and getting tuned at bigshot/pcmforless by brian, car put down 340hp/384tq
1st pass resulted in moving about 2 feet and a few hours of fun
after getting the 3.42 rear in(was 3.73) the 2nd and only pass i went 12.7@105 1.74 60ft.. i have a lot of testing to do to get the car down the track perfect. I left off 2step at 2400rpm, it felt nice but i think it has a little better 60ft in it, the trap seems a bit low to me (was trapping 105 untuned and without the ss3600) any opinions why?? i will have an update at the end of the week when i make it back to the track and hopefully it will be cooler

And I thought I went to the track prepared, I just bring a small toolbox with some spare plugs, pushrods and things. I never broke a rear at the track but if I did I'd call it a day. I'm impressed, that's real dedication to racing.

Time for a 9inch and lots of juice to catch Dirk...
Which 224/230 is that, XFI? I'm having trouble remembering which one Steve put in there.

The Moser M9, which is their fabricated rear, is a good way to go. It doesn't add any weight to the car and with either a spool or a Wavetrac you won't break it. The M9 comes with an awesome chromoly torque arm and transmission crossmember, and this combo really made my Z28 hook. These rears are shipped out just two days after the order is received. Bob

Back in the day when we were street racing a lot I would always look under the cars, if it had a ten bolt I'd double the wager
Al 95 Z28 and 2002 Z28 now, 67 SS, 375 HP 396 then.
