So I have noticed my throwout bearing broke the three little tabs off that hold the throwout bearing to the pressure plate. Just picked up a almost new spec stage 3 from a friend who only put 4K on it got the whole setup flywheel and all, when pulling it noticed his was broke too, damn is this something common that happens? and does it need to be attached to the pressure plate for return? cant figure out why they are both broke on two different clutches in different cars.

Mine weren't broken on my stock throwout bearing but the pressure plate was worn bad allowing the throwout bearing to bounce around.

Same thing happened to me. It was broke so bad it was allowing the tob to move around breaking the fingers on the pressure plate.
