well damn. I put in the paper gasket already.. I cant see it doing any damage? I will also be putting in a rubber seal for the oil cooler. 2 seals are better than 1?

I think I will be order in the Bosch 32# over the SVO 30#.
They are the same price..

So just to clarify. The oil filter adapter does NOT have a paper gasket between it and the block. Only the oil cooler has a rubber seal?

UPDATE:

I will be ordering a stage 4 clutch from CC from
http://nopi.com/dsp_parts.php?vsubpc...%20Performance

And changed order from 30# SVO to 32# Bosch injectors

one step closer!!
Now its basically just the TB which is supposed to be a 52mm from TPiS which i think should be sufficient.. I would go bigger but the mani isn't ported to take anything larger.
Then after I get the right sized pushrods measured I will be ordering some PR from comp like these

No gaskets on the filter or adapter. The oil cooler hoses have two rubber/steel A/C style washers.

Here are some more pictures

Kyle came over last night and we put on the heads and cam and oil pump drive etc.

I tried to put the windage tray back on to man. specs. and this is what i got.. It super close but as long as the rods and crank don't make contact it should be ok, right?

and a close up

should be putting in the rocker arm studs and timing set today

I've probably checked PR length a dozen times in a row and I keep getting the stock length as the proper length... I was assuming the correct PR length was going to be 7.100-7.150.. but I keep getting the best sweep pattern with 7.2 stockers..

What do you guys think? block has been slightly decked, using .039 head gasket.. I really want to order the PR tomorrow morning.

Here are some pics of PR length checking.

I retested several time after and the 7.2 was the most centered

the paper between the block and filter adapter could be bad....if it degrades, then not only is your adapter loose causing goofy oil pressure issues, but then you have paper floating around in your oil. the white gasket in the picture is for the drain plug BTW.....

Yeah I realized the paper gasket wasn't needed so its been gone and that white seal is on the drain plug.
