It's pretty thick and angles outward at its mounting points. I will have to keep an eye on them.

Yea I had uppers and lower a-arms and their k-member. The 6 bolts that go thru the k-memeber and into the unibody all have to be short ones on the spohn setup I had. I can not wait to get rid of it as well. I modified it with some bronze bushing after the holes/slots in the rear let the 12bolt part of the mount slid all over my new Moser and snapped a bolt off in it(yea I know it's a common problem, BUT none of the bolts were loose). Since I have modified it I haven't had any more problems with it, but I still hate the POS.

Jim your lowers look like they have redisigned them alittle bit, it really needs to have support on the front and back of where the suspension bolts to. Just watch them if they start to fail, it will jack up your alignment and pull threads on the tie rod ends.

lol hell yeah I remember that 1st t-top conversion you did years ago from z28.com. that site is still kickin huh? I think I'll go check it out again, I faded away there years ago cause it was slowing down and getting repetitive.. but thats better than all the drama & stupidity flooding out this section lately, like ignoranus bitching out a stand up guy like yourself I wish you were from my neck of the woods and not chi-town for when I could use a hand(or two)!!
hmm now wtf was my s/n over there..ha!

z28 hasn't been too good for along time, I didn't care for the new update an there is very little worthy new content.

Yup. Z28 has been a ghost town. Not really like it used to be. I think as facebook got popular it lost most of the people that used to post there. Also life happens and people move on. Same thing has happened with our local car club forum but most of us just text each other or talk on the phone.

Yeah I eventually want to get an lsx and drop it in this car. Figure once my wife is ready to drop a new engine in hers I will tone done this 396 and make it more Streetable for her and make my car one bad mother.

Appreciate the compliments on the car. My goal is to make It stand out from the crowd and make people say how the hell did he do that.

I still love Z28.com....thats where I met most of you fellers. It has been slow, but I consider the quality there better than the quantity here.

Regardless of that whens the projected burn out video?
