Haha Jim, believe me its past time to get it done.
The suspension all goes in with the front k member when the engine and trans go in. I put it all together as one unit so all I have to do is tie in the brake lines, and four plugs inside the car. I then hook up the exhaust and throw the driveshaft in and she is mobile in about two hours. It's alot easier doing all of it out of the car.

I'm really curious to see it done, that's why I've expressed interest in accepting his help.
Now it's just a matter of time. Seems like a bitch from the top, especially with a tranny involved.

Yep. I am quite happy with them.
Only update to report is I ordered my billet oil pump drive today from Herron performance.
I should have my engine by next weekend as promised by my builder. Still have to make final decisions on which over flow tank, power steering tank and oil catch can I am going to run.

Thank you. Looks like engine assembly starts tomorrow. Everything is balanced, rods and pistons are honed... should be good to go. Heads will be assembled after the shortblock is together. Will have pics up soon of the assembled engine. Almost time to get busy.

Nope... no half assing it here... I use my whole ***....haha
Block is washed, primed and painted. Final touch ups on clearencing is done. Corey is putting the short block together tomorrow. Heads will be done Monday and should be able to get the engine picked up the middle of next week once he gets the remaining few parts in. Guess I better finish up my odds and ends I have left on the car and order what I need to get.

How did you have LE3 heads that we're worked over and now only have 2.02 valves in them? My LE3 heads have 2.05 valves, did some come with smaller valves and I just don't know? Or did you mean LE2 heads?

Oh yeah there were hours and hours and then some more hours spent on them. They work excellent for what they are. We shall see how they work on this set up. Not going to get too carried away because this wont be my final set up in this car. Eventually this engine will be in my wifes car. It will be more than enough for her. I will probably run it for a few years.
