I must say that doesnt look like a bad deal at all if they are legit. One of 2 things is happening here. The seller doesnt actually have a clue about the specifics and they may be good heads AND he just really sucks at listing items on ebay and how to get the most for them. OR he is trying to hide the fact that something is wrong or unknown and is trying to pass them on. If you are on a serious budget I would say go for it. have them throughly checked out. But if the price goes up run like Forrest Gump.

**update** So I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for used ported heads for sale before I shell out $1300 for Ai 200cc heads. I'd like to avoid the 2-3 month downtime while Ai ports my heads (and save some$$).Looks like the "mystery heads" LOL (ported by CNC performance whoever the **** they are) are getting too pricy ($450) to gamble on some unknown/questionable porter. I did find another set of heads which caught my attention...some used LE2's ....they should offer the same airflow/HP I'm looking for. Only problem with them is scuffs on one of the combustion chambers....please take a look: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORTE...Q5fAccessories

It was supposedly fixed by Lloyd....but I don't know....would any of you run these on your car or should I steer clear of them? Trolls, you comments are not needed here....you know who you are ...take that elsewhere.

Man, just spend the money on the heads you want, not what becomes available or convenient.

As usual, you're probably right ramair95ta....I have been burned before by shitty ebay parts that were misrepresented.

I just noticed those CNC performance ported heads I started the thread about got re-listed AGAIN (3rd or 4th time?)...this time for $850....WTF kind of shenanigans is this seller up to Sounds shady. I'm just going to be patient and get my Ai ported heads unless somebody is selling some in the next couple weeks. I'm getting antsy to get my car back on the road ASAP

I never said I was buying them, I just said I was getting Ai heads regardless now...whether or not I get them used or get them to port mine.

Where's this blower/cam/other crap handbook that says heads are a requirement?

And who bought the heads? I bid for $450 cause I knew I could sell parts of it to recoup any/all losses if I needed to.

You can buy demonstrated performance, or you can buy claims. There are no guarantees in life, but you can mitigate risk by working with known quantities vs. unknowns. Good luck either way w/ your project!

i think it was skinnies who made like 650rwhp with a completely stock top end turbo LT1 (except valve springs).

Head arent required, might wanna think about this before you bash your "buddy."

Not bashing anything. He still made 540rwhp, but for $1500 more you could put out 70 more!

To hell with the idea of ebay heads....both of them look like shady as hell deals with questionable results. I'll just get Ai to do them so I don't have to worry or second guess what I'm getting and so they get milled to get 11.5 compression. If I have any issues I can visit them personally within a 30 minute drive of my house....can't say that about anything off ebay. Maybe they'll give me a discount if I said I heard about them from ls1tech.com...
