I'm wondering if there is a difference between the years or between impala and fbodies?

im pretty sure the b-bodies are a little shorter. i used a b body motor with the f body accesory brackets and the belt likes to jump back towards the motor a notch or two

dont know about the b-bodies but the 96/97 fbody hubs are a tad shorter to compensate for the reluctor ring inside the cover

No, because CPS on an OBDII car would factor in to this making it shorter than a OBDI cars hub due to the 4X reluctor wheel. So a 96+ LT1 would be shorter than a 93-95 cars with no reluctor wheel, making those two different right off that bat.

Looking at Jegs, B-bodies, 93-95 F car and 96 F & Y cars are all different part numbers
