I'll probably **** off a mod or two posting about this, but does anyone know what's up with LTXTech being down?
I know at one point quite awhile back it was down due to some billing issues with the previous hosting company they were dealing with.

 

Is that the site that was asking for donations to keep the board alive? It was hacked about a week ago... Who knows...

 

If you pay your bills, the electricity stays on.

Yesterday i kept error messages, this morning it says account is suspended IDK WTF is going on.

 

I've been wondering about it too

 

man getting hacked, now the hosting company shut the account down.

I tell you what, LT1's never get a break.

 

Donations aren't to keep the board alive. They are for events...like the upcoming LTX Shootout.

They put the big kit on it to speed it up some and the bottom fell out.

Our host wants more money now that our term is up and we are working on getting a price that makes sense for what we are using. Don't worry, it'll be back up shortly. The problem with email correspondence is that it takes forever to get to an agreement.

 

We weren't asking for anything. We accept donations and those donation go to keeping the site afloat. We have a few sponsors who contribute as well. The site is community driven and we have made it very clear that any donations made can and will go to site operation. The hack was due to a security flaw in vBulletin that was addressed right away.
